About the position

The General Manager at Jamba Juice is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring profitability, managing staff, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong leader who can drive sales, manage costs, and foster a positive work environment while promoting the Jamba brand and its commitment to health and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Manage Profit and Loss statements and store-level sales.
• Oversee staffing, recruiting, and hiring processes.
• Control labor costs and inventory management.
• Maintain in-store operations and ensure compliance with Jamba standards.
• Drive community outreach through marketing initiatives.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and enhance customer experiences.
• Train, coach, and provide feedback to team members and shift managers.
• Analyze financial reports to identify trends and performance issues.
• Implement strategies to improve overall business performance.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in restaurant management or hospitality preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience, including Profit and Loss management.
• Availability to work 40-45 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and POS software.
• Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and regularly lift up to 40 pounds.
• Comfortable working occasionally in walk-in coolers and freezers.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience in restaurant management, food service, outside sales, or outdoor recreation retail preferred.
