About the position

The General Manager at DalMoros Fresh Pasta To Go will oversee all operations of the new restaurant location in Cambridge, MA. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful launch and ongoing management of the restaurant, including hiring, training, purchasing, and inventory management. The General Manager will play a key role in maintaining quality control and financial performance while leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare the space for initial opening, including setup of equipment and hiring & training the initial team.
• Order from and maintain relationships with all vendors for purchasing.
• Maintain proper inventory levels to prevent stockouts and manage waste using Restaurant365 software.
• Manage scheduling, hiring, and training of the team.
• Ensure recipes are followed, quality of meals is consistent, and presentation meets standards.
• Work with upper management to control food & labor costs, increase sales, and manage operational expenses.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, preferably in quick service.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on communication and teaching.
• Excellent organizational skills.
