About the position

The General Manager at Wingstop is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing both front and back-of-house teams. This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on operational excellence, and the ability to develop and motivate staff. The General Manager works closely with the District Manager to achieve business goals and maintain high standards in food service and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the store in partnership with the District Manager.
• Provide exceptional customer service and manage front and back-of-house teams.
• Recruit, select, orient, and train team members.
• Manage performance through coaching, counseling, and discipline.
• Communicate job expectations and review employee performance.
• Perform regular restaurant inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Track inventory and maintain accurate record keeping.
• Resolve issues with food preparation and customer service.
• Maintain a safe and healthy facility environment by enforcing sanitation standards.
• Accomplish company goals by accepting ownership of new responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of previous food service or restaurant supervisory experience.
• Food Handler Certification required (can be obtained during onboarding).
• Experience using a computer and register (POS) system.
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

• Spanish speaking is a plus.
