About the position

The General Manager at Bolay Restaurant Partners, LLC is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. This role involves managing staff, controlling day-to-day operations, and driving financial performance while fostering a positive and energetic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee every aspect of restaurant operations.
• Ensure excellent guest service that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Ensure that the restaurant is adequately staffed to meet guest needs.
• Control day-to-day operations, including profit & loss management.
• Work with area supervisor to develop the restaurant's annual operating budget.
• Manage all shifts, including daily decision-making and staff support.
• Monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness standards.
• Promote suggestive selling techniques and maximize sales per guest.
• Prepare quarterly sales projections for area supervisor approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a salaried manager in full-service, casual dining.
• Experience with full-service alcohol serving facility is desirable.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, directing, and motivating a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Some exposure to P&L and sales building is highly desirable.
