About the position

The General Manager at Midas Hospitality is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott in West County. This role focuses on ensuring effective hotel management, achieving guest satisfaction, and meeting revenue goals. The General Manager is expected to lead with inclusivity and creativity, manage training and culture, and utilize financial statements to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Lead and inspire hotel staff at all levels, fostering an inclusive and engaging work environment.
• Manage the training and development of hotel staff to maintain high service standards.
• Utilize Profit and Loss statements to make informed financial decisions and drive hotel performance.
• Implement creative strategies to enhance the hotel's design and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hotel setting.
• Previous experience as a General Manager in a limited service hotel.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience with Profit and Loss statements and financial management.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience with Marriott brands is highly preferred.
