About the position

The General Manager at Tagg-N-Go Car Wash will oversee operations at the Lehi Flex Serve site, which includes managing the car wash tunnel and interior express detailing operations. This role is crucial for ensuring that the site adheres to internal processes while continuously seeking improvements. The General Manager will lead a team, focusing on employee training, customer service, and operational efficiency, with the goal of establishing the site as a community hub as the company grows.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold site employees accountable
• Own and manage employee training, scheduling, and labor costs
• Ensure that safety and security are emphasized, practiced, and periodically reviewed
• Enforce company policies and procedures and communicate changes
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policy
• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, discipline, and dismissal processes
• Conduct performance reviews, and build a positive and rewarding culture
• Coach, motivate, and train new and existing employees
• Develop great customer relationships and address customer concerns, questions, and needs
• Maintain excellent site appearance
• Monitor the quality of the wash, addressing areas for improvement and resolving wash issues
• Complete basic equipment maintenance including regularly scheduled maintenance
• Perform administrative duties including paperwork, inventory, and documentation
• Meet and exceed established volume, revenue, and profitability goals
• Attract, recruit, develop and retain employees
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklist on building, lot, and equipment

Requirements

• 7+ years management experience required
• 2+ years of experience managing multiple sites/units preferred
• 5+ years of customer service experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Polite, approachable, and friendly demeanor
• Top-notch organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
• Basic mechanic knowledge is preferred
• Ability to work outside in varying temperatures
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn
