About the position

The General Manager at SBE Restaurant Group is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team to achieve financial and operational goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, hospitality industry experience, and the ability to innovate and drive performance within the venue.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations including floor management and team management.
• Ensure accountability of health, safety, emergency management, sanitation, maintenance, and licensing standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and scheduling to drive retention.
• Evaluate and develop processes to enhance performance and productivity.
• Conduct P&L analysis and maintain budgets, costs of goods, labor costs, and expenses.
• Drive venue performance through ongoing feedback, coaching, and counseling.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate management on budgets, operating plans, and policies.
• Promote SBE's culture of authenticity, mastery, and innovation.

Requirements

• Five years of hospitality industry management experience in a restaurant environment.
• Strong local hospitality experience and commitment to community connection.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
• Proficient in Windows Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and modify operations to meet financial goals.
