About the position

The General Manager at Jamba Juice is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the store, focusing on team leadership, sales performance, customer service, and community involvement. This role requires creating a productive store environment, coaching team members, and ensuring brand excellence while managing financial aspects such as Profit and Loss.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Profit and Loss, store-level sales, and financial aspects including staffing and inventory costs.
  • Maintain operational excellence and demonstrate exceptional leadership behavior.
  • Create a store plan to execute regional and company initiatives and ensure the store is on track to achieve great results.
  • Utilize financial tools and analyze financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in-store performance.
  • Ensure that all productivity numbers, sales, and budgets are met.
  • Review business practices, determine the needs of customers and team members, and identify performance opportunities to create strategies that improve overall business performance.
  • Train, coach, counsel, and discipline team members and shift managers.
  • Lead the team in executing Jamba standards to create excellent customer experiences.
  • Recognize outstanding work performance while providing necessary constructive feedback.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the store trade area and the surrounding community.
  • Develop and maintain positive relations with the surrounding community through effective marketing and sponsorship.
  • Adhere to all company food safety, cash handling, and operational policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bilingual skills preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year management experience, including Profit and Loss management.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in restaurant management or hospitality preferred.
  • Availability to work 45 hours per week including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build a great team and create a positive work environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and POS software.
  • Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and regularly lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Comfortable working occasionally in walk-in coolers and freezers.
  • Reliable transportation and a solid work ethic.
