About the position

The General Manager at ZRG Embedded Recruiting/RPO is responsible for leading all aspects of Contractor XYZ's business operations. This role focuses on driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence while ensuring strategic leadership and team development. The General Manager will collaborate closely with the CEO and senior management to align with overall business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall P&L of Contractor XYZ, including the annual budget, resource allocation, and capital management.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy that aligns with Contractor XYZ's short- and long-term business objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure top-tier service delivery and production.
  • Drive high performance within the sales organization through engagement, training, and retention strategies.
  • Cultivate a high-performing team by recruiting top talent, providing ongoing training, and offering professional development opportunities.
  • Promote a positive, high-energy workplace culture through coaching, recognition, and team-building initiatives.
  • Regularly develop and present key performance indicators (KPIs) and real-time metrics to senior leadership.
  • Identify growth opportunities through lead generation initiatives, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success managing a standalone branch, subsidiary, or business unit.
  • Strong operational background with a process-driven and data-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive performance in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with private equity-backed companies is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of home services industries (roofing experience is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and strategic planning skills.
  • Advanced financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop high-performing employees.

  • Experience in the roofing sector.
