About the position

The position involves managing the day-to-day client service operations within an airline or airport environment, focusing on financial, customer service, and operational performance. The role requires oversight of safety management systems, training personnel, and ensuring compliance with FAA/TSA regulations while maintaining high standards of service and employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client service business including financial, customer service, and operational performance.
  • Oversee the station's Safety Management System (SMS) and develop the station safety plan.
  • Ensure implementation of Service Level Agreements (SLA's) related to operational performance.
  • Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues and provide corrective actions as necessary.
  • Train and retrain personnel on airline/airport procedures and safety protocols.
  • Act as a liaison among local airport/airline managers, FAA representatives, and the company.
  • Monitor employee behavior and performance, providing counseling and reporting as needed.
  • Responsible for all FAA and company-required reports.
  • Maintain good employee relations at airport sites and handle employee issues effectively.
  • Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff, and the public courteously.
  • Utilize company equipment and resources in a cost-effective manner.
  • Perform quality assurance service audits and analyze audit results.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements and conduct safety briefings for employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 5 or more years in management.
  • Previous airline/airport experience is required.
  • Some supervisory or management experience is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation.
