About The Position

The General Manager position at Fastenal is a full-time role responsible for leading the branch business, developing and executing sales plans, and fostering a culture of excellence in business-to-business selling. The General Manager will motivate the team, communicate business progress, and promote career opportunities while ensuring the branch's success.

Requirements

• Possess a current full valid driver's license
• At least one year of Fastenal or related sales experience
• Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent industry experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to motivate others
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs, up to 75lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)
