About the position

As a General Manager at TitleMax®, you will be responsible for leading the store's success by setting high performance standards and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your role involves coaching and developing your team to achieve company objectives while serving as the trusted face of the store, enhancing brand recognition, and driving business growth. Responsibilities

  • Oversee, coach, and develop all store Team Members to build new business and maintain store profitability.
  • Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Track, analyze, and train Team Members on various performance reports.
  • Lead your team to reach or exceed sales goals by extending loan or pawn products to consumers and identifying local marketing strategies.
  • Supervise and maintain office security and conduct proper opening and closing procedures, including management of vault, cash drawer, and bank deposits.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a visually pleasing and professional atmosphere that aligns with the Company's values and mission.
  • Utilize personal vehicle for bank deposits and other Company business throughout the workday.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks to meet performance standards.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with customers and Team Members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, financial, customer service, or related industries.
  • Operations experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for work use (mileage compensated).
  • Ability to work with phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Background check required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate degree or higher.
  • Experience in retail, sales, or financial industry.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
