About the position

The General Manager at Jersey Mike's Subs is responsible for the overall management of the store, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability. The General Manager will lead the team, manage store operations, and participate in strategic planning to enhance the store's performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage store sales volume and quality of service
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain profit margins
• Create employee schedules and place inventory orders
• Lead employee training and development
• Participate in management team meetings and strategy sessions
• Delegate specific tasks to team members as appropriate

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience preferred
• Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer
• ServSafe Certification - Food Handler
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent menu and product knowledge
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills with guests
• Willingness to participate in all Jersey Mike's training programs
