About the position

The KidStrong General Manager is responsible for leading the center, fostering a culture of learning and development for coaches and families. This role focuses on delivering exceptional experiences for children and their families while achieving key business results such as sales performance and member retention. The General Manager will develop and train the coaching team, build relationships with members, and oversee center operations.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the center's key KPIs and financials to make informed business decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee center-level initiatives including maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance of the center.
  • Delegate center tasks among the team to ensure consistent execution.
  • Manage center-level employee issues and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Set and communicate coach schedules using scheduling and communication platforms.
  • Schedule, promote, and sell KidStrong events to maximize profitability.
  • Conduct call drives for lead management in the Center's CRM tool.
  • Responsible for sales and delegating responsibilities to the center staff team.
  • Finalize sales and bookings generated through online self-sign-up flow.
  • Source and attend local events to increase brand awareness and drive memberships.
  • Foster a coaching culture and continuously assess and document Coaches.
  • Recruit, screen, interview, onboard, and evaluate coaching candidates.
  • Lead coaching candidates through the training process and required evaluations.
  • Manage and support the ongoing professional development of staff through LearnUpon.
  • Lead center-level staff meetings focused on development and productivity.
  • Communicate professionally with co-workers via Slack and Email.
  • Attend weekly leadership meetings.

Requirements

  • CPR Certification
  • Management experience
  • Knowledge of physiology
  • Experience with pediatrics (1 year)
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as a pediatric OT/PT
  • Familiarity with Google and Microsoft platforms
  • Experience with systems like ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, ADP, and FranConnect
