About the position

The General Manager at Wingstop is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining profitability. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to operational excellence, with a focus on compliance with health and safety standards. The General Manager will lead the team, manage daily operations, and promote the brand within the local community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to resolve guest complaints
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies
  • Maintain quality goals by regularly reviewing product quality and researching new vendors
  • Organize and supervise shifts, appraise staff performance, and provide feedback to improve productivity
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Requirements

  • A NYC Food Handlers License/Serve Safe certification is required
  • 2+ years of General Manager experience in the restaurant industry with responsibility for financial results
  • Strong commitment to operations and customer service
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English
  • Ability to handle money and use a basic cash register system
  • Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
