About the position

The General Manager at Logan's Roadhouse is responsible for overseeing the restaurant's operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and managing staff performance. This role involves building a positive work culture, maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation, and actively participating in community engagement to enhance the restaurant's visibility. The General Manager will also handle administrative duties, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive the restaurant towards achieving its financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines.
  • Builds a culture using the Vision / Mission statement to guide Teamwork, Results, Integrity, Passion for Service, Fun, Balance, Innovation and being Guest Driven.
  • Ensures the immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints by self and staff.
  • Ensures guest contact as a priority with self and staff utilizing a target goal of 100% table visitation.
  • Teaches and enforces alcohol awareness and builds a positive relationship with local authorities.
  • Maintains adequate inventory levels and ensures product preparation meets company standards.
  • Actively participates in the community to increase sales and enhance restaurant awareness.
  • Implements and executes all incentive contests and educates associates on promotions and new menu offerings.
  • Effectively oversees/schedules associates to meet sales demands.
  • Maintains effective safety and security programs according to company policy and government standards.
  • Promotes and manages restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation.
  • Institutes preventative maintenance of all equipment and building.
  • Communicates with other managers daily through management log and shift change meetings.
  • Ensures quality recruitment and referrals of potential management candidates.
  • Adheres to and promotes training procedures of new managers.
  • Develops an environment of constant development of managers, including informal monthly reviews and written evaluations every six months.
  • Conducts thorough interviews and selects new associates based on competency.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Ensures timely performance one-on-ones with all associates with written evaluations every six months.

Requirements

  • Prior management experience in a similar organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Business, or associated field.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and business acumen in the role of assistant manager.
  • Experience as AGM or prior Unit General Manager in a similar organization.
