About the position

The General Manager at Arby's is responsible for leading the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive and family-oriented work culture. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring product availability, and fostering a supportive environment for both employees and customers. The General Manager will also engage in leadership development and career advancement opportunities while managing the restaurant's performance and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and support the team to provide excellent service to customers.
• Generate weekly schedules to ensure adequate restaurant capacity.
• Maintain a positive family culture through coaching and hiring practices.
• Oversee routine ordering and inventory to ensure product availability.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the restaurant according to guidelines.
• Adapt to various situations to support team performance.
• Resolve customer issues and employee wellness concerns calmly.
• Execute marketing plans accurately and on time.
• Review profit and loss statements with the District Manager and take necessary actions.
• Build positive relationships with customers and coworkers.

Requirements

• Desire to grow and succeed in personal and professional development.
• Strong people-oriented relationship skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs and prepare food.
• 3-5 years of experience leading a diverse team in a restaurant or equivalent education.
• Valid driver's license and insurance with an adequate driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently with various personalities.
• Satisfactory completion of a background check and must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
