About the position

The General Manager at Qdoba is a leadership role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and managing restaurant operations effectively. This position requires a confident decision-maker with a strong background in guest service, employee management, and financial oversight. The General Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive work environment, driving sales, and ensuring compliance with company policies and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain fast, accurate service and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maximize store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programs.
  • Oversee and partner on increasing catering sales.
  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures.
  • Work with the leadership team to meet sales goals.
  • Manage food and labor costs.
  • Execute company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and order product when necessary.
  • Manage and maintain safe working conditions.
  • Manage crew member employees to encourage growth and reduce turnover.
  • Interview and hire team members.
  • Provide proper training for team members.
  • Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action.
  • Ensure continual improvement of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in guest/customer service.
  • Experience in employee management.
  • Strong business and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the restaurant industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures.
