About the position

The General Manager at Burger King is responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve financial objectives. This role involves overseeing daily operations, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The General Manager serves as a key leader in the restaurant, focusing on profitability, guest satisfaction, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver store sales and financial objectives by removing barriers to success.
• Schedule daily labor requirements to meet business needs and provide great customer service experiences.
• Connect with the local community through marketing and community involvement initiatives.
• Lead by example and serve as a role model for company standards and behaviors.
• Attract, identify, and hire team members who align with the company culture.
• Communicate team wins, priorities, best practices, and operational changes effectively.
• Ensure food safety and security standards are consistently met.
• Maintain food service and production levels through strong execution in both BOH and FOH operations.
• Address performance issues quickly and respectfully through coaching and counseling.
• Contribute ideas and solutions to increase productivity and improve operations.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• A passion for food and restaurant operations.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and build an efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership behaviors and approachability.
• 3 or more years of quick service experience preferred.
• 3 or more years of managing a team preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Spanish language skills preferred.
