The Fulfillment Expert at Target plays a crucial role in ensuring that guests receive their orders accurately and efficiently. This part-time position involves working in a dynamic environment where team members are responsible for picking, packing, and shipping products to meet guest demands. The role emphasizes customer service, operational efficiency, and teamwork, contributing to a positive shopping experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests.
• Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact.
• Engage with guests in a genuine way, asking questions to better understand their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues for guests.
• Select items for order pickup, drive up, and ship to home for digital guest orders.
• Accurately put on hold all order pickup and drive up orders.
• Properly prepare, pack, and sort guest orders for shipment using correct materials.
• Meet productivity metrics and other fulfillment goals.
• Meet guest order promise times to deliver on guest demand.
• Own your workspace and supplies; keep equipment and designated areas organized and stocked.
• Follow all safety guidelines and operating procedures, including food safety guidelines when handling food items.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive up.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.

• Experience in sales or retail environments.
• Ability to handle cash register operations accurately.
• Physical ability to climb up and down ladders and lift or move merchandise up to 40 pounds.
