About the position

The General Office Clerk position is a short-term contract role based in Tampa, Florida, focused on providing administrative and customer service support within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role requires strong organizational and data entry skills to manage gift card orders and ensure efficient dispatching and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the organization and dispatch of gift cards for our consumers.
  • Handle online orders and prepare gift cards for mailing.
  • Maintain accurate records of gift card orders and dispatches.
  • Provide customer service by responding to customer inquiries related to gift card orders.
  • Print labels and gift card holders, ensuring they are correctly assembled for mailing.
  • Oversee the shipping functions, ensuring gift cards are mailed out accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage and organize files related to gift card orders and shipments.
  • Use data entry skills to maintain and update our customer database accurately.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Administrative Assistance tasks including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling office correspondence.
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues promptly.
  • Experience in Data Entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Organizing Files and maintaining a well-structured filing system.
  • Knowledge of Shipping Functions including planning, routing, and tracking deliveries.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education level.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
