About the position

Yamhill County has one regular full-time position for a General Outpatient Therapist (QMHP) to provide integrated behavioral health services using training and experience in evidence-based practices for adults with co-occurring mental health conditions such as serious mental illness, trauma disorders, and/or moderate mental health conditions. Duties will include providing treatment to assigned clients, diagnosis and treatment planning activities, maintaining accurate treatment records, effective case management, while working closely with an integrated behavioral health team. We are actively working on being a trauma informed agency. This position provides a great opportunity for professional development and advancement in clinical skills. This position may be filled as either an Advanced Practice Behavioral Health Clinician or a Behavioral Health Clinician, depending on experience and credentialing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide treatment to assigned clients.
  • Conduct diagnosis and treatment planning activities.
  • Maintain accurate treatment records.
  • Perform effective case management.
  • Work closely with an integrated behavioral health team.

Requirements

  • A MSW or master's degree in a social services field from an accredited school.
  • For Behavioral Health Clinician: One year of experience as a Human Services Specialist I.
  • Must qualify as a QMHP or CADC to work in respective fields.
  • For Advanced Practice Behavioral Health Clinician: Three years post-master's experience.
  • Active professional license in the state of Oregon as a Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP).
  • Non-licensed QMHP with dual credentialing as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC I, II, or III) may also apply.

Nice-to-haves

  • Training and experience in evidence-based practices.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
