About the position
Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established clinic in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a clinic setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to address the needs of medically complex and underserved populations.
- Participate in patient education and community outreach initiatives.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in patient care.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric clinical experience.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or similar environment.
- Bilingual skills to communicate with diverse patient populations.
