About the position
The General Production Worker position at Aerotek involves performing various operations in multiple departments including Grated, Shred, Deli, Wedge, and Box. The role requires cross-training in these areas and focuses on maintaining high standards of product quality and safety in a cleanroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform operations in Grated, Shred, Deli, Wedge, and Box departments.
- Conduct inspections of products.
- Package products efficiently.
- Load and unload raw material into packaging machines.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the work area.
Requirements
- Experience in production and general labor.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols.
- Knowledge of packaging processes.
- Ability to perform inspections.
- Forklift operation skills.
- Experience with machine operation.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience in the food industry is a plus.
- 1+ year in manufacturing required.
