About the position

The General Sales Manager will lead the sales team at Southern Industries, a premier remodeling construction company in the Southeast. This role involves recruiting, training, and motivating sales representatives to achieve sales goals while providing exceptional customer service. The position offers a base salary plus commission and bonuses, with all leads provided, ensuring a focus on closing sales rather than cold calling.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and train sales team members.
• Motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals and quotas.
• Set individual sales targets for team members.
• Develop the sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
• Engage with customers in their homes to assess their home improvement needs.

Requirements

• Proven record in in-home sales or business-to-consumer sales experience.
• Ability to work evening and Saturday appointments.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Experience in a management role.
• Valid driver's license.
