About the position

The General Support representative role is designed for individuals passionate about technology and helping others, providing an entry point into the IT world. This position involves supporting a diverse range of clients by addressing their technical issues and requests, ensuring excellent service delivery through effective communication and documentation. The role is remote-based with on-site support in the Knoxville area, emphasizing a friendly and efficient approach to tech support.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the client's needs are understood and addressed
  • Start tickets for phone/email/chat/walk-in clients
  • Get all the relevant information from the client
  • Clearly document issues and requests
  • Work with the client to identify the specific device having the problem
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate appropriately as needed
  • Schedule callbacks
  • Assist with hardware bench work

Requirements
