About the position

The General Tank Operator at World Oil Corp is responsible for managing the receipt, analysis, and transfer of waste oil and other materials at the facility. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, performing inspections, and maintaining the facility's operations efficiently. The position offers a full-time schedule with opportunities for overtime and includes various benefits.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming drums or bulk loads containing waste oil, waste antifreeze, and/or oily water.
• Sample drum and bulk containers and submit samples to the lab for analysis.
• Analyze samples in accordance with the facility's waste analysis plan.
• Load and unload tank trucks and tank containers according to the type and volume of wastes.
• Inspect and maintain the transfer facility in compliance with regulations.
• Properly manage shipping and receiving of crude, light product of naphtha, and LDO.
• Run samples and enter proper temperature and gravity on product.
• Perform daily and weekly inspections, including tank/wastes inventory.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Valid Driver's License
• Basic Math knowledge
• Ability to work various hours of the day and/or night.
