About the position
The General Warehouse Associate position at Onin Staffing involves working in a warehouse that specializes in handling smart appliances. The role requires physical strength and the ability to perform heavy lifting, as well as attention to detail and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Unload heavy household appliances (200 lbs +) using hand truck or dolly.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Turn appliances around by hand in the trailers.
- Take items to the correct staging location.
- Check off items on BOL by serial number.
- Re-package cartons.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Ability to do heavy lifting.
- Attention to detail.
- Multitasking skills.
- General warehouse experience.
- Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.
- Team player mentality.
- Ability to work independently and accurately under pressure.
