About the position
The General Warehouse Associate position involves performing various tasks in a warehouse setting, including loading and unloading trailers, breaking down materials, cleaning, and operating material moving equipment. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and efficient work practices, with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Breaking down materials
- Cleaning items and/or the work area
- Operating warehouse material moving equipment such as bailers, walkie riders, and pallet jacks
Requirements
- Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work 8+ hours a day standing, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Time management skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Basic computer knowledge
