The Human Resources (HR) Generalist serves as the primary support to the Plant Human Resources Manager and the plant leadership team, playing a crucial role in the administrative support of day-to-day HR operations. This position is integral to ensuring that HR functions are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the plant's workforce management. The HR Generalist is responsible for processing weekly union hourly payroll for a workforce of 250 to 350 employees, as well as assisting with salaried payroll adjustments. This role also involves administering and managing accruals and absenteeism within the timekeeping system, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of employee attendance and leave.
