About the position

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at EADS Cooling Solutions LLC plays a crucial role in supporting People Leaders and employees by managing various HR functions. This includes overseeing employee data, recruitment, training, and compliance with FMLA and STD/LTD regulations. The HRBP is responsible for streamlining HR processes, coordinating employee benefits, and ensuring effective communication and guidance within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates talent acquisition process with Talent Acquisition/HRBP and assist with recruitment
  • Completes on-boarding process of new employees
  • Manages new hire workflow including employment offers, pre-employment testing, I-9 compliance, and all correspondence with candidates and new employee orientation
  • Maintains HCM system records and departmental tracking files ensuring timely and accurate records
  • Ensures top HR performance of all associates by providing coaching and guidance
  • Conducts investigations, documents findings, and reports as required
  • Supports employees with efficient problem solving when any human resources issues arise
  • Assists in drafting and updating company policies and procedures
  • Assists in structuring and organizing training plans and programs
  • Reinforces the company's policies, rules, and procedures
  • Routinely monitors changes in the applicable HIPAA government regulations
  • Researches and analyzes available sources of regulatory guidance in response to specific questions
  • Ensures that the organization invests in a proactive safety culture by assisting and backing up the safety manager
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 6 years' experience working in the human resources field
  • At least 3 years' experience in employee relations and compliance
  • 2+ years implementing tactics to improve performance management
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in manufacturing setting
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal requirements
  • Proficiency in ERP systems including ADP and Workforce Now
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis in Microsoft Excel
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Self-motivated and able to drive collaborative success with limited guidance
  • Ability to be an analytical thinker with excellent attention to details
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred but not required
