The Human Resources Generalist at LC Industries is a pivotal role responsible for executing HR-related duties at a professional level while collaborating closely with senior HR management to support designated geographic regions. This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including benefits administration, training, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, affirmative action, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in administering various human resource plans and procedures for all personnel within the organization, assisting in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, and maintaining the employee handbook and policies manual. In addition to these core responsibilities, the HR Generalist will be involved in the full cycle of recruitment efforts for both exempt and nonexempt personnel, as well as temporary employees. This includes building a recruiting network through outreach to various organizations and educational institutions, conducting job fairs, and ensuring that company policies are administered fairly and consistently. The role also requires conducting new hire orientations and exit interviews, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws, and compiling reports from the human resource information system (HRIS). The HR Generalist will also participate in administrative staff meetings and contribute to the evaluation of departmental reports, decisions, and results in relation to established goals. This position requires excellent communication skills, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to work under regular supervision with established goals and direction. The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, with specific physical demands that may include lifting files and adjusting focus for close vision tasks.
