About the position

St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI) is seeking Licensed Psychologists to join our General Mental Health Program, focusing on providing general psychotherapy for a variety of conditions. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team while receiving administrative support. Clinicians will manage a caseload that includes individual outpatient therapy and may also run outpatient groups, with the ability to tailor their caseload according to their expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general psychotherapy for patients with various mental health conditions.
  • Conduct individual outpatient therapy sessions.
  • Run outpatient therapy groups as needed.
  • Refer patients to specialty programs when necessary.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for case consultation and program development.
  • Participate in continuing education and training seminars.

Requirements

  • Master's or doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field (e.g., MSW, Professional Counselor, Ph.D).
  • Fully licensed by the State of Missouri to practice independently.
  • Credentialed-eligible for managed care panels in Missouri.
  • For non-Missouri residents, a current Psychology license in a PSYPACT state and willingness to maintain PSYPACT credential.
