About the position

As a Senior Generative AI Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will leverage your expertise in machine learning (ML) to develop and maintain models that process large datasets. This role involves collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and data scientists to deliver innovative solutions for high-impact missions. You will be responsible for defining the direction of mission-critical solutions, applying best-fit ML algorithms, and guiding clients through the complexities of ML technologies.

Responsibilities

• Train, test, deploy, and maintain generative AI models.
• Define the direction of mission-critical solutions using ML algorithms.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver solutions.
• Develop data processing pipelines that optimize infrastructure use.
• Integrate critical technologies into user experiences.
• Guide clients in navigating ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI, data science, ML engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with Generative AI modeling.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience in deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or chatbot development.
• Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservices and edge computing.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rust.
• Familiarity with frameworks like Hugging Face, LangChain, AutoGPT, or AgentGPT.
• Experience with GPU programming, including CUDA or RAPIDs.
• Knowledge of modern Cloud computing technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to gather requirements and lead Agile teams.
