About the position

As a Senior Generative AI Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will leverage your expertise in artificial intelligence, particularly in Generative AI and large language models, to develop innovative solutions that address real-world business challenges. This role involves architecting and building generative AI-based products, collaborating with a diverse team of experts, and driving innovation across various client domains to support missions of national importance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build new generative AI-based products and offerings.
• Integrate AI solutions into specific client missions within enterprise and operational contexts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, and product owners.
• Drive innovation applicable across multiple client domains.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with machine learning or software engineering, including leading teams to build customer-facing solutions and products.
• Experience with integrating large language models, GPT models, or multi-modal models with applications or user interfaces.
• Experience in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Knowledge of MLOps, including CI/CD, model training, testing, deployment, or monitoring.
• Ability to distill complex technical concepts into understandable summaries for non-technical business leaders.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of experience in modern AI capabilities including deep learning and natural language processing.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and platform services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience working with federal clients.
