About the position

As a Generative AI Engineer at Starr Insurance Companies, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced generative AI models to address complex challenges and foster innovative solutions. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams to identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity improvements through generative AI. You will work alongside data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to create solutions that align with business goals, while continuously monitoring and enhancing model performance for accuracy and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement generative AI models to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes and identify efficiencies through AI.
• Work with cross-functional teams including data scientists and software engineers.
• Monitor and enhance existing AI models for performance and accuracy.
• Assess and evaluate the output of generative AI models using appropriate metrics.
• Preprocess and manipulate large datasets for model training.
• Integrate generative AI models into enterprise platforms and applications.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of generative AI concepts and models such as GANs, VAEs, and transformers.
• Experience with generative AI models like GPT 3.5 or GPT 4.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Proficiency in prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience applying AI/Generative AI to real-world use cases.
• Understanding of deep learning concepts and frameworks.
• Experience with Vector databases.
• Ability to deploy and scale generative AI solutions in production environments.
• Strong experience with data preprocessing and feature extraction.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or related field.
