About the position

The Generator Sales Account Executive for Data Centers at Rehlko Power Systems is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to grow profitable sales of power generation solutions within the data center vertical. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including end users, contractors, and engineering consultants, while providing expert guidance throughout the sales process. The position requires a strong understanding of the data center industry and the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for solutions sales to Distribution Partners, End Users, Contractors, and EPC firms for Data Center clients.
  • Work with Marketing, Operations, and Engineering to maintain strong market and competitive intelligence for effective presentations and value propositions.
  • Lead sales activities supporting the entire influencing chain from End Users, EPC, Contractors, and consulting firms, focusing on the data center segment.
  • Establish long-term relationships with key individuals at targeted accounts, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Provide guidance during the initial design stage and assist with developing project requirements, drawings, and specifications.
  • Re project specifications and drawings, serving as Rehko Power Systems' application engineering expert for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales team, suppliers, and distribution network to prepare quotes and preliminary drawings for projects.
  • Participate in project meetings and pre-quote project requirements meetings.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of industry power products and pertinent codes and standards.
  • Manage key End User clients across time zones, globally.
  • Provide presentations to large audiences and plan training programs for associates and channel partners.
  • Participate in forecasting efforts and coordinate with team members via Sales Operations processes, including CRM tracking.
  • Maintain centralized documentation for tracking requests and quotations via CRM tools.
  • Prospect targets and promote KPS in data center segment trade events and associations.
  • Work with Marketing and Engineering to create and present technical papers and marketing collateral.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in the data center industry.
  • BS in Engineering and/or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in technical quoting and working with complex product lines preferred.
  • Proven leadership and results-oriented professional with strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated people skills to lead and motivate professionals in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility with stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
