About the position

WEX is seeking an experienced Genesys Cloud Developer to design and implement scalable business solutions utilizing various Cloud and On-Premise technologies. This role involves both solution design and the creation of Contact Center Technology, collaborating with stakeholders to support WEX's growth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and support Genesys Cloud solutions including IVR APIs, Lambdas, Data Actions, and other integrations.
• Develop interaction flows including ACD, IVR routing rules, data tables, flow outcomes, and milestones.
• Create and manage menus, dialing lists, and rules, as well as queue builds.
• Provide system administration support for customized applications, user permissions, security settings, and custom objects.
• Collaborate with internal partners to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for call flows and integrations.
• Design, develop, and test solutions for projects of moderate to significant complexity, ensuring compliance with WEX standards.
• Identify improvements and upgrades to reduce costs, improve stability, and increase performance.
• Engage with production support staff to remediate chronic and/or critical production support issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with designing and developing on Genesys Cloud and Genesys Cloud Architect.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing JavaScript/Node.js, AWS Lambda, and Genesys APIs.
• Strong developer skills using JavaScript/Node.js, AWS Lambda, Git, CI/CD, REST, and SOAP API.
• Knowledge of computer software applications, operating systems, telephony systems, and hardware.
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Genesys Cloud experience including AWS Lambdas, Genesys Data Actions, and Genesys Cloud APIs.
• Genesys Cloud certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of SIP Protocol implementation and support.
• Network administration and support experience.
