The Genetic Counseling Assistant is responsible for supporting the genetic counselors and other clinicians with administrative functions as well as taking on a patient facing role by answering phone calls, discussing test results, fielding questions, and collecting information related to health and family history. The Genetic Counseling Assistant is an integral part of the OH Genetics team and will be involved with our outpatient genetics clinic, multidisciplinary specialty clinics, and inpatient consults.
