About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Science, Health Science, or a related field.
• One (1) year of related experience preferred, but work experience may substitute for education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide genetic information to referring physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate genetic testing and results.
• Assist with counseling support for various genetics clinics.
• Coordinate care for patients with undiagnosed severe chronic medical conditions.
• Work closely with the UAB Undiagnosed Diseases Program team.
