About the position

The District Sales Manager at GeneID Advanced Molecular Diagnostics is responsible for driving growth in genetic testing services within a defined district. This role combines personal sales performance with team leadership, focusing on opening new accounts and managing a team of Sales Account Managers. The position emphasizes strategic market expansion and relationship-building with healthcare providers, particularly in the fields of Primary Care, OB/GYN, and Urology.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve personal sales targets by actively opening new accounts.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Account Managers.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the district.
  • Present genetic testing services with a consultative approach.
  • Oversee client onboarding and ensure seamless service integration.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Director to align district strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven sales record in the healthcare or genetic testing industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive a team's performance while achieving personal sales goals.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and willingness to travel.
