About the position

The Geo Experience Center Program Manager at Esri plays a crucial role in shaping strategies for the effective adoption and use of Esri technology. This position involves coaching and mentoring team members, engaging with customers to understand their needs, and facilitating the adoption of innovative location-based solutions. The Program Manager will work closely with senior leadership and top companies to optimize the use of Esri technology, helping customers achieve their business goals through expert guidance and support.

Responsibilities

  • Empower your team and customers by engaging in discussions to guide understanding of geospatial value across industries.
  • Mentor team members through active coaching, clear direction, and regular feedback.
  • Collaborate with Global Business Development to diagnose customer needs and build briefing strategies for large organizations.
  • Facilitate content and demo development, enabling collaborative activities with the larger team.
  • Articulate the strength and value of Esri technology by understanding customer needs and industry relevance.
  • Engage with customers on decisions surrounding Esri technology and participate in executive briefings.
  • Craft and propose innovative solutions to help customers reach their goals using visual storytelling.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team.
  • Advanced knowledge of various industries and technology trends, with the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
  • Deep understanding of GIS and Esri technology.
  • Expert visual storytelling skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to build compelling account growth strategies.
  • Knowledge of fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 25%.
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and its application in problem-solving and trend analysis.
  • Master's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
