Thornton Tomasetti's Boston office is seeking a motivated geotechnical/geo-structural engineer to assist with projects throughout the country. Our Geo-structural Engineering group collaborates with architects, owners, engineers, and contractors to develop efficient and innovative geotechnical/geo-structural solutions for projects of all types, sizes, and levels of complexity. We specialize in analysis, design, evaluation, monitoring, and rehabilitation for a wide variety of transportation infrastructure projects and private clients. Our group is known for its holistic view with an analytical approach to engineering challenges, informed by past experience, data, and interdisciplinary expertise between geotechnical and structural engineering. We are here to provide solutions to geotechnical construction for multi-discipline large infrastructure projects. In this role, you will execute technical aspects under the supervision of a project manager, assisting a team to produce design drawings and models in a collaborative environment. You will also assist in fieldwork, including inspection and monitoring of construction and site investigations. This position may require some field inspections related to foundation installation or SOE construction, which may necessitate OSHA training.
