Responsibilities

  • Collects, reviews, and analyzes data, reports, and literature for renewable energy leases.
  • Implements improvements in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis, mapping, and outreach.
  • Leads project teams to ensure compliance with BOEM policies and regulations related to scientific data and GIS.
  • Represents the Pacific OCS Region on geospatial and cartographic matters.
  • Independently prepares maps and documents for various OCS programs and activities.
  • Enhances procedures for preparing and reviewing cartographic and geospatial documents.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Background/suitability investigation is mandatory.

  • Selective Service registration is required for male applicants born after December 31, 1959.
