In this position at Schneider Electric, you will not just be selling products; you will be creating innovative technological solutions tailored to meet unique customer challenges. Your role will involve collaborating closely with engineers and other stakeholders to address a variety of customer needs, from supplying reliable power to a new hospital wing to ensuring critical data centers operate efficiently. You will be at the forefront of deploying the electrical infrastructure of the future, focusing on making electricity greener, smarter, and more reliable. This role requires a deep understanding of customer requirements and the ability to offer solutions that align with their long-term goals. Every day will present new challenges as you engage with a diverse range of customers across various sectors, including residential and commercial buildings, data centers, industrial sites, and infrastructure. You will be expected to become a trusted advisor to assigned Channel Partners, Consultants, Contractors, and End Users, guiding them in the design of complex electrical distribution systems. Your responsibilities will include solution sales of low and medium voltage distribution equipment, automation, and power monitoring systems, as well as consulting with various teams to bring Schneider Electric's innovations to market. You will also be responsible for interpreting electrical plans and specifications to develop winning proposals, driving market strategy, and exceeding sales and profitability metrics. This position requires a commitment to continuous learning, as the technology and customer needs evolve rapidly. You will engage with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer demands while contributing to Schneider Electric's growth ambitions in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor with assigned Channel Partners, Consultants, Contractors, and End Users across several market segments.
  • Influence and guide the design of small to large, complex electrical distribution systems in a given territory.
  • Engage in solution sales of Low Voltage Distribution, Medium Voltage, Motor Control, Power Switching, Digital Power, Automation, Services, and Power Monitoring engineered-to-order equipment.
  • Connect Channel Partners to cutting-edge offers, applications, and tools to help them achieve their commercial goals.
  • Consult with various stakeholders including Channel Management, Outside Salespeople, and C-Level Executives to promote Schneider Electric innovations.
  • Work with Inside Sales Specialists, Project Managers, and other teams to deliver solutions that solve customer needs.
  • Interpret electrical plans and specifications to develop winning proposals.
  • Drive market strategy and demand generation through multi-layered account plans.
  • Exceed sales and profitability metrics to assist in achieving Schneider Electric's growth ambitions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant sales experience preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or Business is preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Advanced experience in electrical distribution or energy management industries.
  • Advanced experience in C-Suite executive relationship building.
  • Experience with low voltage electrical distribution, medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, automation, controls, or energy management technologies.
  • Familiarity with Square D Power Distribution Equipment preferred.
  • Advanced experience with consultative sales methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers of various technical abilities.
  • Ability to understand market dynamics and use data to develop growth strategies.
