About the position

BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Imagery Analyst to provide critical analysis in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency mission. The role involves performing imagery research and analysis, utilizing various imagery analysis tools and geospatial information systems to identify and analyze trends and solve intelligence problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of geospatial techniques and the imagery collections process, collaborating regularly with other analysts to produce finished intelligence products.

Responsibilities

• Perform imagery research and analysis by researching current and historical softcopy imagery.
• Obtain softcopy and commercial imagery-related products in response to customer needs.
• Utilize available imagery, multi-INT, and other source customer data stores to exploit, identify, monitor, and analyze existing and emerging trends.
• Produce finished imagery-derived intelligence products, reports, and assessments.
• Collaborate with imagery and geospatial analysts.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of systems and software programs such as Socet GXP, DIEE, RDAS Imagine, ArcGIS, and CGSWeb.
• 3 years of intelligence analysis experience in the Intelligence Community or military commands at the national and tactical levels.
• 1-3 years' experience in both commercial and government imagery and mapping software.
• Strong knowledge of the imagery collections process and exploitation functionalities, National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), CEDALION, Imagery Exploitation Support System (IESS), Imagery Library, iSpy.
• Demonstrated experience to collaborate effectively with the Intelligence Community.
• Good oral and written communications skills to present and discuss technical and procedural aspects of targeting development processes.
