Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management, and technical expertise for a variety of multidisciplinary projects including dams, levees, and heavy-civil works.
• Position the company ahead of market challenges by identifying and showcasing technical differentiators.
• Expand dam and levee-related geotechnical business to complement other business lines.
• Serve as a technical specialist in advanced geotechnical engineering theories and processes.
• Recruit, retain, and mentor technical employees.
• Anticipate and adopt new technologies to solve client challenges.
• Collaborate with other discipline leaders to cultivate innovative solutions and research projects.
• Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Mining, or Geologic Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 15 years of related experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical Engineering emphasis.
• Working knowledge of FLAC 2D/3D or Plaxis 2D/3D.
• Experience in dams, levees, trenchless design, tunnels, or geo-environmental projects.
• Experience with staff management, project management, and business development.
