The Geotechnical Engineering Director at Van Cleef Engineering will lead and manage the Geotechnical Engineering Department, focusing on large-scale subsurface investigation programs. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Geotechnical Engineering Department.
- Plan, implement, and manage large-scale subsurface investigation programs.
- Conduct foundation design and soil stability analysis.
- Oversee related laboratory testing and preparation of contract documents.
- Manage projects and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Develop business and maintain client relationships.
- Provide technical writing and data management support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey.
- Valid Driver's License.
- 12+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Experience with foundation design and soil stability analysis.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management.
