Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor subsurface drilling for geotechnical investigations.
• Obtain soil and rock samples and prepare boring logs.
• Develop laboratory testing programs and interpret laboratory data.
• Perform geotechnical analyses and design, and prepare reports.
• Provide recommendations for building foundations, cut and fill slopes, retaining wall design, landslide remediation, and roadway rehabilitation.
• Manage construction materials testing services, including coordination and supervision of technical staff.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Consulting Geotechnical Engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer registration.
• E.I.T. or F.E. certification.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering.
