A significant part of the role involves preparing geotechnical designs, conducting take-offs, and creating cost estimates, bid proposals, and budgets. The candidate will analyze geotechnical reports to inform their estimating process, ensuring accuracy and reliability in their proposals. Responsibilities

  • Prepares and develops product presentations to explain services and create solutions in collaboration with clients
  • Attends trade shows and conferences to promote visibility and services in the market
  • Prepares geotechnical designs, take-offs, cost estimates, bid proposals and budgets
  • Analyzes geotechnical reports and uses them as reference during the estimating process

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of estimating/sales experience in a construction environment
  • Understanding of geotechnical design principles
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and good communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
